A great occasion! The first time I've seen Worcs win a cup for a quarter of a century. It wasn't just that we had the outstanding batsman (Ben Cox) and bowlers (Moeen and Pat Brown), the catching and fielding were outstanding.

By all accounts it was worth missing Blackburn - Villa for!

It was worth missing Villa for. First game i've missed this season but i took my tablet down and watched it at cricket. Entire first half was during interval
so missed nothing.
I didn't go to support Pears more of a Shark on the day due in part to the complete ineptitude of their mascot in the race, getting stuck under netting
of obstacle was one of my highlights of the day.

Fair play to Pears though - best team on day with some great performances.

I see the ECB have made Woakes 'unavailable' for tomorrow's game at Sussex....utterly ridiculous! England don't play again until 10th October - any chance they have Sussex / Kent influence on the board of selectors? Woakes needs some practie after an injury hit summer.

That’s central contracts for you. We’ve hardly missed Woakes in red ball cricket this year and we have plenty of cover from the likes of Sidebottom and OHD.

What's the weather like down south, anyone? Draws in both games will be fine.

Windy, very cloudy, drizzle in the air. Brightens up later sadly.

That’s quite a good idea, wonder if Warks could do that too.

It's great that it's free but if a few quid per game would mean they added multiple cameras and synced the radio commentary then it would be well worth it, seeng the ball get hit away and then being told it was caught at, for example, mid-on isn't a great experience for the viewer right now.

On the current game, it's good to see that Rhodes and Sibley seem to have formed a partnership at the top over the season, they've done a good job in the last few games.
