Here are Bears fixtures for Championship and One Day cup. I assume T20 not released yet.

Here T20 fixtures....firt game away at New Road

I noticed earlier that we're playing Yorkshire in York June 17th, never spent anytime there so booked couple of nights, can't do more as it coincides
with World Cup game at Edgbaston...NZ v SA i think...i have ticket for it so ain't wasting that.

It’s the first game at York since 1890.

I notice we have a home fixture with the venue TBC. I imagine that they will either head out to Stratford or use the second XI ground at Portland Road.

Both of these are caused by a congested 2019 International calendar.

Really like York mate, one of my favourite places in the UK.  I would like to see more of the four day games at the smaller grounds.

We have one this season although nothing from Edgbaston about where.

I seem to remember an article around that Portland Road was being renovated suggesting that it would be used for county matches in 2019 because of the World Cup. Would prefer to play at Stratford mind.

Ludicrous. County game getting shafted as usual.
Agreed....they will still require paying public to go through doors.

Not really unexpected, and as I said fairly early on last season, I don't think I will be renewing my membership. I will pick one day per CC match at Edgbaston when the weather is reasonable, and go to New Road and Trent Bridge likewise.

Giles is being linked with the Director of Cricket role in the ECB, to replace Strauss. I can see why he’d want the job but for selfish reasons I hope he doesn’t get it.

Martyn Moxon, Tom Moody & Mark Nicholas are also linked.

That role seems to me to be less cricket oriented and more a figurehead role, in which case I'd give it to Mark Nicholas.

Looks like Giles is on his way then and Andy Flower is the leading candidate to replace him at Edgbaston. He would be a good replacement; I’d rather Giles stayed at Edgbaston but I imagine that the lure of the top job in English cricket would be difficult to turn down.

Disappointing news with Giles leaving. He had just started to get the Bears looking really competitive again. Not sure about Andy Flower - I'd prefer Allan Donald back....
