Other way round, I think?

Link to non-paywalled article.

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/sport/amp/cricket/46047594

Doesn't specify how it will work. I assume it will be staying at fourteen games per division.

When do 2019 fixtures get released?  Seem to recall they are not long after the season finishes?
27th November.
50 over comp basically a 2nd xi competition as no overseas players allowed to play from 2020

Ludicrous. County game getting shafted as usual.

Ian Bell got himself another T20 contract in the PSL for Islamabad.

Hope he ain't gonna be knackered when he's back for the county.

Can't understand that decision at all to be honest.

I imagine that it’s to encourage the use of home grown players in each side and also the misguided belief that most oversees players will be playing in the new white elephant 100 ball tournament anyway.

Good overseas signings (and I think that distinction has to be made) are a massive benefit to the game, so I just don't understand it.  Hearing Alec Stewart talk about the impact Sangakkara had at Surrey on TV the other day was really interesting.
