Apparently all large stadiums have a problem simply with numbers of people trying to access it at the same time. Wembley has state of the art connectivity and it still fails when full. They were saying that the technology isn't quite there yet for stadiums on this scale. Even all the apps people have running in the background drain the signal before anyone even takes their phone out of their pocket!

I was in the Met Life stadium in New York five years ago, and it had amazing 4g and wifi.  An Aussie couple next to us were Face Timing their family back home, such was the strength of the wifi.  I'm sure it's probably difficult/expensive to do, but it clearly is possible.

Thanks to all that attended and for posting the Minutes up on here.

As expected, it appears that all eyes right now are focused on the balance sheet. So much depends on whether we go up or not.

The 4g coverage seems to vary dependaant on provider, used to use EE and connectivity was crap, now use Vodafone and have no issues with connections.

Every time I've managed to get down the Villa over the past few years I have been facepalming the family.

So true Rudy - and its all a bit worrying
Miss out on promotion and the fire sale could be dramatic ..... having said that I think we should be trimming the squad and be looking at a smaller tighter unit of players  -
I might be on my own thinking this but expenditure on the ground can wait as far as I am concerned - we very rarely sell out so expansion is meaningless
I also find it bizarre that spending money on the pitch may be withheld until we know what league we will be in - surely that is far more important than paying £ thousands to Richards and Agbonlahor

They are definitely doing the pitch this year, but where we finish will determine when work can start. If we end up in the play offs with the home leg 2nd, then we would be starting work late enough to request away fixtures at the start of next season.

it is the priority with regard to infrastructure alongside disabled facilities.

The phone signal is fine in the seats. If you're in the concourse, all the scores are on the telly. I don't see what the problem is, unless people genuinely can't go fifteen minutes without liking a recipe or sending a picture of themselves with bunny ears superimposed.

But we like your bunny ear pics. Especially when you put the really big eyes on them with glitter n stuff floating about.
