The District Line was playing up yesterday so one of our mates got to the pub before the game on a Boris Bike. Made me laugh anyway.

I was so smashed when I got home, my wife told me this morning, I walked in, ignored her and went straight to the garden and chopped logs for the fire, had a shower and went straight to bed.

Should only have accepted 2000 tickets. We also lose when we have massive turn outs - Wigan the obvious exception

I was that pissed after the game I got on the bus without paying and fell asleep it was nice to catch up with you pair again and the rest of the lads.

Seems like I missed quite a day on Saturday judging by the casualty stories. In solidarity with you all I was drinking whisky till 3 after the wedding in Bristol.

I was shocked at just how many Villa were there.? In the concourse before half time there looked to be thousands there alone.

I ventured all over that London and it seemed that every time the tube doors opened, I could hear Villa fans singing, regardless of where I was in the city.

Last thing I remember was staggering out of a curry house in Hammersmith late on Saturday. Don’t remember getting back but I found a Twix in the back pocket of my jeans on Sunday morning, which was a bonus. Looked like I’d been sitting on it for hours though

I got the 21.03 back from Euston in Brum at half ten in a Wetherspoons in Solihull for 11 through until 1.30 then back home whereupon I found myself an hour later asleep on the chair with a Brian Clough documentary on YouTube still on.  I’m a 48 year old responsible father of two.

When we heard about the delays on the trains, we decided to hang around for a bit longer than planned. Ended up getting back into the house just after 12.30am with a chocolate cake and herbal tablet in my hoody top pocket.

0-0 under Graham Taylor was, with the exception of the FAQF win at Goodison, the most pissed I've ever been at a match. We were on the High Road at 9 after drinking on the train.  We went the wrong way from the Eight Bells so passing it again popped in for a couple of large Whiskey's to aid further navigation.
At HT I blissfully headed for the exit believing the 90 mins had flown by until halted by a concerned fellow fan. I followed him into the toilet and at the stall asked him who had scored our goal. "It's nil nil mate" he responded.
I can't remember anything else.

Exactly. Too many arseholes there. We don’t want a repeat of it if we hsve to go there in the playoffs.
‘Great away day.’ Load of bollocks.

I can see why you were banned the first time round.
