Coat & Badge and Jolly Gardener are both very good pubs but doubt they will have much of a football crowd (certainly not away fans) as they're just that little bit off Putney High Street (especially the Jolly Gardeners). They're also both primarily rugby clubs although no 6 nations this weekend will mean there's no clash.
The Spotted Horse (on Putney High Street) is an ok pub - no screens or anything like that but decent enough space to get a couple of pints in.
I've never been to the Eight Bells but that is always full of away fans so i'd probably recommend that to be honest.

I lived in Putney in the early '80's and the Gardners was a cracking little pub.
Tomorrow, I'll be in the Eight Bells.

About 200 yards away in the direction of Fulham High Street.

You won't miss it - You have to pass it. WM Police have tweeted this:

#avfc #utv The Temperence, The Eight Bells and The Dukes Head will all get very busy so either arrive early or use Putney, short walk over the bridge. Plenty of on street parking around Fulham area but not close to the stadium after 1pm & 3pm

Personally, I'd heed the advice of crossing Putney Bridge. It takes you away from the ground but it's less packed. The 8 bells will be a nightmare.

I have been the eight bells a good few times and always been a great atmosphere and always fine to get a beer

The Crabtree been going there every time we play Fulham nice pub good atmosphere and big beer garden.
Well normally I wouldn't have gone any where near a pub but if you are going to be there Darren than that's where we are heading. Don't forget to come over and say hello :)

London's most irrelevant club, Fulham.
Must rank as one of the most pointless first posts. Hopefully you will get better.

Well I am insulted by that as I am a very grumpy old man, maybe if you hate crowds and noise you should change allegiance to the noses lol. Enjoy your dayvand if anyone in the eight bells sees an old git with specs and a claret jacket and looking a bit gormless with little hair, I'm sure a pint of anything would cheer him up :-)

Aye. Two  of the nearest grounds to me are Brentford and Fulham, and I've had to miss both.

Still, at least there is still Millwall.  :/

You must be relatively (in London terms) near me. I'm less than 2 miles from Brentford and 6 from Craven Cottage. Yet I never, ever, see you in my garden. If I had a garden I'd be freaked the eff out.
