Oli Stevenson
« on: February 13, 2018, 09:22:57 AM »

Can I give a shout out to this man? He overcame disappointment at illness ruining a promising career to become a key member of the coaching staff and, most importantly, enabling Jack to be the player we thought that he should be.

A good friend of mine.  A nicer lad you will never meet, and Villa to his very core.

Thanks for the link - good read. Fair play to Kinsella too, good attitude towards the game and the changes in his own career. Sad that some of these lads for one reason or another weren't able to fulfill their footballing potential with us, but definitely great to see Oli making a difference on staff.

Despite having lived on Merseyside for over twenty years I still like to keep up to speed with what's happening in the City of my birth, so I tend to go on the Mail website daily - I agree , it's an absolute dogs dinner

Lovely piece, It reminds me of the Liverpool of old who seemed to have an endless stream of back room staff with proper roots and hearts in the club. Good luck Oli👍
