I sit in the North stand near the away fans and agree Sheffield Wednesday have been by far the best away supporters this season.

However they are the only away team to win at VP too.

Went to school in Quinton and can recall two Noses and one of them was a teacher. You'd think they'd be all over South Brum.

I reckon we have more supporters in South Brum than they do.

Born in Kings Norton and lots of Villa at school, used to drink in Kings Heath lots of Villa again, when I go back to see the folks, you see as many tops and blues tops. I know some great Villa lads from south Birmingham, it’s more bollox from them.

I don’t give a fuck what they think. Our fans are all over the world. Theirs are still struggling to master the wheel.

Yeah, me too.

Work in Brum but have never lived here, always out in the shires like the Hobbit that I am. My folks moved out of Birmingham before I was born.

Sorry to validate our bluenose friends  very insightful perspective on us fickle villa fans.

The more we talk about them, the more important they are to us. They're best ignored until we play them again, which will be a long time coming, or they do something daft, which will be a lot sooner.

Their support is confined to little areas in Brum.
Our support is all over Brum, the Black Country, the shires and all over the country.
That's what happens when you're a big club.

They run the city centre and "Birmingham is blue" yet they wet themselves if they get 24,000 when they play us. Where are all these fans hiding? Absolute whoppers.

If you ignore them it makes them even more upset, rise above them all fellow Villans.

I was shocked at the size of Stockdale - anyone else think he looked like an umpa lumpa?
He kicks to the left
He kicks to the right
Oh David Stockdale
Your kicking is shite

Where do you even begin with shit like this?

It's the ones from North of Brum that bug me. Why? Because there are other clubs from those areas that they really should be supporting.
Walsall Villa, Black Country Villa, brownhills, pelsall, staffs etc,....Have they not heard of Walsall, WBA, Wolves?
That is gloryhunting!
Because we are not defined simply by location.

Many people moved out of Brum to places like Tamworth and Lichfield (as our family did), or effectively creating 'new towns' like Burntwood, Gt Wyrley etc in the 50s and 60s - and they didn't stop being Villa fans. Then, as kids came along, many stuck with what team their dad supported; one of mine has, while the other started with us but her boyfriend took her to the Wolves! The first time I saw her in a Wolves top was the only time I have told her that she 'can't go out dressed like that'.

I do go to watch Hednesford and Rushall play, and I do look for the Walsall result.
