Lovely stuff, and a pointless sending off at the death for laughs.

We are a machine, it’s a joy watching us now.

I've had worse Sunday lunchtimes.

That's exactly what I said to my daughter a few minutes ago!

Johnstone - 8 - Rarely called on but looked very comfortable and assured.
Elmo - 8 - Quick, defended well and put a few good balls into the box as well.
Chester - 9 - Absoluely comfortable and classy.
Terry - 9 - One slip, otherwise a colossus and he loved it.
Hutton - 8 - Solid and worked his socks off as ever.
Jedinak - 9 - Covered the defence so well, particularly first half.
Adomah - 8 - Got better as the game went on, took his goal well, someone in the lower Holte needs to pass him a crown the next time he does that celebration to complete it!
Hourahane - 7 - Bit of a quiet one, would have got a 6 but extra mark for a great goal.
Grealish - 10 - MOTM - Absolutely top drawer performance, the touch had me drooling, the set up for Adomahs goal was sublime and his workrate and discipline were faultless.
Snodgrass - 8 - Worked his bollocks off and had some good moments including a near miss.
Hogan - 8 - Same as Snodgrass, a little isolated on occasion.
Subs - Bit late to rate but I liked the look of Grabban who looked quick and strong and worked hard, Thor got into a good position only to be snuffed out.

I'm starting to love this Villa team, absolutely unrecognisable now from 2 years ago, well done Bruce and his assistants.

Can't believe it's more or less the same team that played Brentford at Christmas. Jack is that good, he could get a game for Wulvz!

Always going to be a tough one in the lead up but when we turned up on the pitch there was only one winner.
Thankfully it was us!

Watched the game with my dad. He spent the first half complaining about Albert, and I did the same regarding Hourihane. Cheers boys.

They're garbage. The biggest gulf in class since the 5-1. Head and shoulders above them.

The city is ours!
