Comfortable win really, we always looked a class above and it told. Grealish superb, Hogan worked his socks off and we looked solid all game. UTV.

Excellent. Hourihane looked a bit off the pace until the goal, and Snodgrass wasn't as sharp as in recent games.

But we can now have players playing at 6 or 7 out of 10 and still winning comfortably at this level. Jack different class, but that's becoming standard now.

Can't believe I am saying this, but fair play to SHA too. Making a game of it and going at us in the first half. That opened the match up.

All is right with the world...the natural balance of good vs evil is restored with a 2-0 win against the Blue Scum and we go 2nd in the table. Enjoy the rest of your weekend ladies and gentlemen!

Excellent stuff overall. Bit of a lull after half time aside, it was a great effort. 2-0 doesn't accurately reflect the gulf in class, Small Heath showed absolutely nothing. Fair play to Bruce, the Jedinak over Thor call was a big one, but Mile was immense.

Grealish was awesome. They just couldn't cope with him at all and had to resort to trying to hack him down everytime. Fair play to Jack for not reacting.

Well that tastes sweeter than honey.

Jedinak was immense and Jack was different class.

Everyone else did well, my only minor complaint is that Snodgrass and Hourihane do throw themselves to the floor a lot and when they don't get the free kick they are out of the play and the opposition have space to exploit.

That was probably the best team performance of the season, the players allowed to show what they are capable of and boy did they show it. Great call by Bruce to bring in the Jedi, he was excellent. As for Jack, that was some performance. Collectively we were well up for it and was probably the most comfortable derby win I can recall for a long time.

3 points in the bag and up to second. I've had worse Sunday lunchtimes.
