It's all about finding a way to win: and we certainly seem to have (finally) got the knack.

Marvellous scenes!  8)

Thought Thor did well again.

Agreed, and it's fair to say I was not his biggest fan earlier in the season.

Great 3 points.

Now get on the phone Steve and find another striker. We cannot just rely on Hogan for the rest of the season. Davis is not the answer.

I thought we were competent all night against a decent side. Keeper and defense immense. Bjarnasson anchors midfield so well and Grealish looked dangerous throughout. Hogan did well up front without ever getting a sniff at goal and the winner was amazing. Fifteen wins - we only managed sixteen last season. Looking good now with 17 to go and two home games to come. Looking forward to Saturday.

Johnstone looks like he should be outside a youth club drinking 20/20 but my god that save was fantastic.

Sign of a good team Aston Villa when you win playing badly  ;)

Cliche alert but that's exactly the sort of game promoted teams win.

Under the cosh all game and we steal it at the end, fantastic stuff. Now let's win the two home games and see where the land lies after that.

Spot on.

Worth putting up with the previous 89 minutes for the scenes at the end!

Thought Johnstone had a blinder. Also thought Bjarnesson had a fantastic game. Couldn't believe someone in the match thread thought he should get the  hook at half time - the kid never put a foot wrong and I really am not a fan.  Second half he was Petrov-esque! My man of the match despite Snodders screamer.  Well played Thor!

A stodgy performance I would say.  They will think they deserved to win with the saves Johnstone made but that’s the value of a top keeper. I’d be seriously worried that Liverpool don’t come calling as he would improve them immensely.

Was waiting for Elmo to overlap for Snodgrass all night and the one time he did created the space for the goal.

Thought Jack was tireless waiting the ball all the time. Hogan struggled with the 3 at the back and the sort of cross he scored last time wasn’t going to work with 3 centre halves.

Agree with those about Thor, tidied up well with the minimum of fuss - barely noticed him but that’s what you want from that role.

Great chance Saturday to keep the run going!

First time we've won 5 in a row since John Devey made his debut.
