I was at that game, went with Frank. I think Hardwood scored for us?

We were two down and drew 2 2. I thought Weimann hit both?

Just checked cdbullywee’s link. Sidwell 63 and Adam Mcgurk 73, for us.

No recollection of the match whatsoever, even having Googled it. Whatever happened to that Colchester manager?

McGurk's been decent in the lower divisions, scored a few for likes of Burton and Morecambe although don't know who he plays for now.

I used to drink with a bloke who worked with Adam McGurk's dad. He reckoned the Villa had bought the family a house to get him to sign for us as a youngster.

I don't know if its the same now (and it;'s probably worse) but the amount of money thrown at young kids is incredible. Harry Forrester was, apparently, given a million pound contract when he was 14.

Adam McGurks dad sold my parents a new kitchen and bathroom, absolute fucking cowboy.
