That was in the Coca Cola cup wasn't it?

I only quickly scanned the replies so far. Has anyone said Garry Thompson yet?

Yep, so was Dean Saunders.  We didn't play them in the League throughout the 90s, so there won't be anyone from that era in the list.

My answer: Darius Vassell.

Me, you, all of us :) I mean it's the Blues, anyone can score against them.

I loved Deano's goal in the League Cup that they claim was offside, despite him still being in his own half when the ball was played.

The first goal I saw us score against the noses while actually being at the game itself was Allan Evans at the sty in the title winning season. The first I saw us score against them at Villa Park was Gary Shaw's late winner on Easter Monday 1983.

My favourite was Andy grays from the throw from rimmer first time I ever saw us win there along with 12,000 others in the tilting road packed like sardines

I've just looked it up and the first Villa goal against them in my lifetime was scored by Chico Hamilton in a 2-1 win at Villa Park (attendance 53,782) in September 1975, shortly before my fifth birthday and four years before my first visit to Villa Park.

First in mine was Bruce Rioch in a 2-0 win at the Sty in 1970. It was also the first Villa win after I was born, Villa obviously knew it was time to celebrate my 18th (day).
