Sir Graham
« on: January 14, 2018, 12:02:28 PM »
I was just wondering just over a year on from Graham Taylor's death if anything was planned for the home game against Barsnley?
Watford did a minutes applause yesterday on the 72nd minute (his age when he passed). He is still the manager I most respected when growing up in the 80s, so I hope there is something to respect him by.

I'm surprised there's no kind of recognition for him at the club in the shape of a suite being re-named or something. I'm reading his autobiography at the moment. He was a hell of a manager and a man and we were very lucky to have him.

Nice guy, had time for people. Very down to earth.

Yes it is a good read from what chapters i've looked at. A very honest account of his times in the game and of Doug.

I think a minutes applause on 72 minutes would be great and also a minutes applause at KO for Nigel Sims, FA Cup winning goalie, and one of a select bunch of players, who have played over 300 games for us.
