No doubt we'll all give Barry Fry a warm Villa Park welcome :)

I would if I get the chance. Let's not forget he did more for Tony Barton in one night than Doug Ellis did in 24 years.

What did he do?

Gave the memorial match selection committee any Blues player they wanted at about eight hours notice and said that if he'd been asked the entire team would have been the opposition.

Agreed, fair play to him. I had never heard that either - I was living in France for most of the 1990s so missed out on a lot of stuff in those prehistoric days.

Aston Villa v Peterborough United
Saturday January 6
Kick-off: 3pm
Villa Park

Prices: £10 to £15 (adults), £5 to £10 (concessions), £1 (U16s).

Wheelchair bays: Available by calling the Ticket Office on 0333 323 1874

NOW: On general sale

Season ticket holders have until Monday December 18 to purchase their own seat.

Only tickets purchased before 3.30pm on Thursday January 4 will be posted to supporters.

All tickets purchased after this deadline will be available for collection only - or you can Print at Home if you book online and have access to a printer.

Supporters are advised to collect their tickets as early as possible to avoid the disappointment of missing kick-off.   

Tickets can be collected from the Villa Village Ticket Office up to 12.30pm on matchday after which point, tickets can only be collected from the Trinity Road Ticket Office which will be open from 1pm.

All Pride Rewards members will receive 20 points upon purchase.

However, points will not be awarded for additional purchases made by other supporters.

I want to play Woking, we never play non-league teams (about once in the last 50 years).

I remember playing Gravesend & Northfleet in the third round (late 90s ?). They beat Cinderford Town in the previous round.

Wasn't He's Got No Hair But We Don't Care managing, or something to do with them, at that point. Cinderford, that is.

I was living abroad at that time but I think he may have played for them that day.
