We just need to hang in there until some players come back and/or we can bring some players in after Christmas. I do think we can have a strong run in so we just need to stay in touch in the meantime.

The concern is how tired too many looked.
Davis obviously has a problem playing 2 games in a row.
Bruce has got to get the mostm out of this squad with the injuries we are carrying.

Well he's obviously going to benefit the more he plays consecutive games.
He is young so who knows.

Good win and a welcome three points but we looked very lacklustre. It was if they were doing the bare minimum to win the game. Understandable but hard to watch.

Did the job and didn't fall for the inevitable new manager bounce. Too sloppy in possession and the effectively playing without a striker given KD's non-appearance meant we could never build any real pressure. Will need to be better on Saturday but things are looking up and we're closing in on those around us. Just a shame that we have no strikers and the defence looks like it can't keep a clean sheet without Terry.

Johnstone at fault again tonight for their goal

I've not long got in, so delighted to see that we've snaffled another 3 juicy points. That'll do nicely  :)

I thought Snodgrass had good spells as well as Onomah, and Albert. The rest were OK.
But we won, that's what counts.
Would like to just keep winning, and not look at the table too much, but f**k me, when were we last in the top 4 of a league table, it's hard to not get carried away.
I like this winning games malarkey.

I would blame Samba a bit as well. If either had run for it they could have kicked that ball out of play. As it was the Sunderland lad just walked over to it and clipped it back in.

Shambolic defending and goalkeeping for their goal has to be said...

Would have taken any win beforehand so happy with that. Sometimes you have to win ugly to
succeed...

Delighted with how its going and looking forward to the Ipswich game now which I will be attending. Albert Adomah is scoring at Platty rate at the moment, nice to see we can have a regular scorer other than Kodjia. Excellent set of results since the Barnsley game, eight wins out of eleven.  When was the last time we won 9 league games before December?

That was absolutely dreadful. Crap, safe football but luckily Sunderland are garbage. Turned out to be a good night though with Sheff Utd and Bristol City losing.

Those kind of performances though are why we don't beat any of the teams around us because you can't get away with it. We must improve going into December.

The crowd. Only 27k, piss poor considering we were 5th and on a decent run. Sunderland had the same as that on Saturday and haven't won at home in 2017. Will it take us to be in the top two for everyone to come crawling back?
Atmosphere was shocking aswell. Silent for the majority of the game.

3 more points and other results have gone our way. Three more on Saturday would be very nice indeed.
