Well done. Fuck off Gollum.

Looking at last 4 games on paper could have expected 6-9 points so 7 is decent enough.

At 40 mins, I wasn’t happy and went for a beer, ran back into the lower stand to see the pen and then everything changed 2nd half, very good, well done players manager & fans. I had a great day in London 😀👍

Highlights

Brilliant finish for the winner. Great save from Onomoah too.

Samba (never left ground at front post), Chester (beaten in air) and Johnstone (pinned to his line) were all piss poor for their goal.

Johnstone would want to wise up as every team in this league will try the same approach from now on.

Suffice to say, we would not concede that kind of goal with Terry there

It's one of those goals you see when a centre half goes off injured or misses a game and no one takes responsibility in their absence.  I think they'll improve over the next few weeks when they get used to each other.  That said it's Johnstone's responsibility to take control there and he needs to be louder/braver in making sure everyone knows it.

Easy answer. Buy Smithies from QPR in January. He is a better Goalie than Johnstone.

QPR short of money. MAN U. will over value Johnstone.

Samba looks so ungainly which doesn't help but he didn't actually give the ball away, he just lacks Terry's composure.

Er no. SJ best keeper on the league by a country mile.

Excellent win, I really didn't expect it. I hope we can get six more points this week and really build on this.

Would be great if he signed with us. Surely he will get better offers though.

Thought we would lose this today particularly after going behind so delighted with the win. Two more in these home games and we're really cooking.

Anybody know how Samba played?
He was poor. It's not only that he's clumsy and error-prone, he doesn't find space like Terry does when we're playing the ball out of defence. Jedinak must be a better option

I thought he was ok. I don't think anyone had a bad game to be honest.
Considering that’s the first start for some time I think he did ok. There was a few times when he seemed to take a while to decide what to do with the ball.
Tough ask for him to play midweek as well.
Hopefully Jedinak will be in there on Tuesday

Bruce rarely changes a winning team, which is something that, for a change, I agree largely with him on.

Agreed. I think it gives players a bit of confidence around the fairness of their selections as well.
