Moin Younis
« on: November 08, 2017, 11:39:35 PM »
I didn't see this covered anywhere but this young lad is incredible. Loves the Villa and an absolute credit to his family, Acorns and us. Nice touch by Beckham and during the awards a lovely moment with Prince William.

Well done young man!!

Lovely to see Pete McParland involved. Respect to Becks for having Villa legends on speeddial.

That really is wonderful. I’m no great fan of Beckham but my opinion of him is elevated after seeing that.

Did anyone see when Jamie Vardy asked him what he thought of West Brom?  He looked shocked and said something on the lines of this will be going out, I can't say things like that on TV. Top guy and one of our own.

Was he the lad that was interviewed with Joleon Lescott when he was still with WBA?

I think the Albion players were touring the Children's Hospital before Christmas a few years ago. Moin was being interviewed for Midlands Today and Lescott was in the background. Lescott hugged him and Moin told him where to go because he was a Villa fan and then kissed the badge on his Villa dressing gown.

A top lad and I hope the club do something to mark his achievement.

Great stuff from the lad, Becks and King Willie.  Best bit was where he looks as if he's about to say "f**kin ell" when Becks walks in and manages to stop himself.

As I said elsewhere - if you missed this pick it up on catch up TV. The bit above is only part of it and the whole thing was brilliant. Theres a thread on facebook where everyone agrees he was the best thing on the whole show and there are hundreds and hundreds of posts. Everyone saying how they went from laughing to crying and back again during that section. It really was superb.
Its only the second one of the evening, just after the first break.
