I echo the point about being relaxed with our lead. I thought we looked in control of the game pretty much all the way through. It was so good for the nerves it was almost boring. Confidence is building, and although he didn't have a lot to do I have to say how much confidence I have in our goalkeeper.

Good article.
I think us and the media ‘talking the club up’ is as important as the performances on the pitch.
We need to get ourselves into a situation where our reputation proceeds us, let others be wary of us.......it’s been too long since that were the case.

Preston aren't ManUre but the last time we played them, recovering a two goal deficit is exactly what they did! Probably had less injuries that day, mind.

Teams should be turning up at games just waiting for us to roll them over. Us on a good run should scare the shit out of other teams in the league.

Good read. Whilst it was most certainly worth mentioning Preston's defensive injuries, seven out, it's also worth noting they played their preferred midfield and strikers. Whilst their makeshift defence managed to keep a lid on things for the best part of the game, it was the rest of their team that couldn't match us.

Agree completely with the line about Hutton, Dave. If he added greater technicality to his power, strength and determination he'd be playing in the Champions League instead of the Championship.
