They are only two points behind Villa, goals for/against 19/14 while Villa's are 19/13, so likely to be a tight game.
They might not have won since 5 games ago, but with Bruce's style of play away from B6, I'm expecting a draw might be the best we will achieve.

Just up the road and would normally jump at the chance to attend - went last season and have bad memories of the performance on the day.
Cant motivate myself to go and watch this current team under such a dire manager - to those making the trip I wish you well and hope you see a convincing win, but my head says another 0-0

0-0 or 1-0 to Preston with the ex Villa player scoring. It will be tedious.

They're at sixes and sevens at the back with injuries.
I imagine we will go with the same back 5, and then Jedinak and Whelan with Snodgrass, Hourihane and Adomah and Davis up top.

Preston have numerous injuries and a small squad. They've conceded 11 goals in 5 games and on a really poor run after a great start to the season. Their central defenders are make shift, the only real thing that we'll have to fear from Preston is they work bloody hard and press. We really couldn't have chosen a better time to play them.
Nothing less than 3 points will be acceptable.
0-2 Villa

They looked the better team against Barcehampton the other week, despite losing. Not too confident about this one.

I haven't really taken too much notice of their results or seen them play this season but it would be nice to not only get the win but to make up for last season's woeful display up there.

If SB has done any homework he will know their injury list and pick a team to run at them - but we are all fearful that he has already said "They have had longer to prepare than us" means it will be the usual boredom of sit back and hope to nick a goal
The U23's whacked Newcastle last night with O'Hare getting a hat trick and Lansbury starring and scoring
Come on Brucey freshen it up and give them a chance
Although Hutton has done ok he still leaves huge space when he attempts to go forward and even the dog shits manager stated this as a weak point they wanted to exploit on Sunday. Play the right players in their right positions so Taylor comes in for me.
Although not a great player Whelan was really in a war on Sunday so in should come Jedinak.
I would drop Snodgrass as I think he is shit and too much of a passenger.
If he intend to play Hogan then at least play him off Davies to give the guy a fighting chance

They've only got one fit centre half so if we have a go there could be a few goals in it for us. Can't see that though. Bore draw.

No need to play Whelan and Jedinak, I'd like to see Hourihane pushed further forward. I'd leave out Snodgrass too.

This is a good test. We need to go in positively and aggressively at PNE.

Preston are pish at the moment.
This has to be, and will be, a win to the Villa boys!*
(*IF Bruce can bother his arse to go for a win, instead of a draw)
