Absolutely spot on about adequate doesn't leave much room for error. That is something Bruce doesn't get.

the trouble with adequate is that it doesn’t leave much room for error when a performance is less than that.

Preston is a must win

I wouldn't usually agree about a 'must win' game at this stage of the season, but given we are both six points off the top two and seven points off the bottom eight it shows how crucial every win is in this division.

The not much room for error line is spot on, and the reason why I think top 2 is highly unlikely.  I think grinding  and boring our way into the play-offs is the best we can hope for and should be do-able with this squad.

Think you got the game about right, would be interesting to read Dave's opposite number' take on the game.

Just about what I thought would be their take on it.

I think the 'Serious injury' remark was aimed at the coins being thrown rather than the clappers!

I thought you said he was one of the ok ones Dave? Sounds bitter and twisted like the rest of them.

Agree that we are not pretty and we 'Just about get by' view, so I've certainly accepted a season of dour battles...but if it gets us up I'll take that. If it doesn't he will be gone in May anyway.

Good read Dave but I hope the next time you mention Gabby, will be when we're saying goodbye to him.
