Do we play them home and away?

I'd hope so.  In a group of three teams it'd be a pretty short competition if we didn't!!!

I didn't know if it would be a case of play both games 1 home and 1 away, then dip into another groups. I.E promotion/relegation format.

Canít wait for this, good opportunity in my view to use as an opportunity to bring experienced U21s into the senior set up.

Given that the thing it's replacing is international friendlies it's hard to object to it too much as a concept.

I don't mind the concept. Competitive football instead of friendlies, teams playing others of roughly their own standing and the excitement of promotion and relegation are all things to look forward to.

It should have no part of qualification for the Euros, though. The format required is too convoluted, open to corruption, and, arguably, rewards failure by giving teams in the bottom division a shot at qualifying.

We fucked up the last one, which was much easier to qualify.

Well at least your decline to fucking it up in qualification saves you the misery of somehow ballsing it up in the Group when you do qualify.

When did England last have a reasonably exciting qualifying group when it went down to the wire? 2007? Itís been mostly dull and sensible since then. When we get there itís always just a matter of time until we get outclassed and Chris Waddle gets to have his rant.

Yeah, probably 2007 when they somehow managed to fuck up qualifying for Euro 2008.
