So replacement LB for the next 3 games
« on: October 02, 2017, 02:52:22 PM »
De Laet seems the obvious choice but he has seemingly become the invisible man

Hutton - OMG no

Mitch Clark - Would pick him over Hutton

Richards - who?

Clark. If only because he's already played there once this season

Hutton played there against Middlesbrough in the League Cup as well.  The Hutton and Bjarnason combination down our left hand side was predictably not the most productive.

Still think Taylor will get off, as Le Fondre's reaction will surely be highlighted.  Saying that, I thought Lansbury's would definitely stick, so who knows.

I thought Taylor was one of our poorer performing players against Bolton.  I couldn't believe they brought off the forward player that gave him such a tough game.

Bjarnason will play there I assume. Taylor’s a plonker for making that challenge I have not seen any other angles for the lunge, but it didn’t look like one that would be overturned.

I vote for Mitch. That would be a progressive move and hopefully the boy will come thru.

I thought Taylor was one of our better performers on Saturday. The card definitely won't be rescinded, I thought the decision was overly harsh live at the game but they are told to clamp down on any perceived lunge or when they are judged to not be in control so they certainly won't change it to a booking after the event.

In terms of the next three games, he'll play Hutton as part of a flat back four I would have thought. De Laet has been out of favour since the Reading game and the couple of times he's played Bjarnason at left wing back and changed to a back three have been disastrous.

Oscar Borg.  He reminds me of John Gidman but a left-back instead of a right back. He had a blinder last monday

James Bree can play left-back, too.

I would like to see Clark get a go. Maybe he can be another young revelation likes Davis has been? We've seen time and again that Bjarnason can't play there, that would be a stupid choice.

We will pick Bjarnason.

I despair if that limited icelandic 'utility player' gets anywhere near it.
