What about the young lad we signed from West Ham?

Liam Ridgewell? That was the dawn of the century and Millennium, a long time ago now.

Ha abit more recently??

Were you going to sneeze?
LOL - funny!

Think you may be referring to Oscar Borg. He is featuring in the U23 side this season, after being out for most of last with a serious injury.

No way is Bruce throwing a youth team player into the team away to Wolves.

I would go for De Laet but I don't understand why he plays Carling Cup and then disappears from the 18 for the league fixture.

De Laet or Bree for me. Only real options.

It'll be Bjarnson though, God knows what he has on Bruce.

Borg actually seems pretty good. At least in the one U23 game I watched (Brighton).

What about the young lad we signed from West Ham?
'The Borg'....
Five facts about Aston Villa's latest arrival Oscar Borg, signed from West Ham ( Mar 2016 ) on a 2 1/2 yr contract.

1/... Borg, 17, started out with the AFC Wimbledon Under-13 side, but his performances caught the eye of West Ham, who snapped him up and took him to Upton Park.

2. Primarily a left winger but also capable of playing at left back too, Borg's pace earned a huge comparison to Real Madrid ace Gareth Bale during his days with West Ham.

3. Having impressed in the youth setup with West Ham, Borg caught the eye of Premier League rivals Manchester United, and went on trial with the Red Devils back in the summer of 2014, as reported by the Daily Mail, but didn't secure a permanent move to Old Trafford.

4. Borg is eligible to represent both England and Turkey, as whilst he was born in Surrey, his grandmother was born in Istanbul, meaning there could be a tug-of-war for his services if he impresses at Villa.

5. Having stalled at West Ham, Borg has now penned a two-and-a-half year with Villa - and as reported by the Daily Mail last year, Villa have been chasing Borg for some time, and have now finally landed their man today.

Personally I like to see him given a chance, he's been outstanding with the under 21s this season...after a long injury lay-off....Godzvilla!

Mitch Clarks not a left back is he??

If he's the kid who played there against Wigan then he was really good but I recall some saying thats nowhere near his normal position....

Are we appealing the red card? If so when will we hear?

It's going to be Thor isn't it? Hope he proves us all wrong, but not convinced he is much good.

Could be worse, could be Richards.

I hope he gives one of the youngsters a chance, or failing that De Laet.

Not Bree, not convinced by him at right back yet nevermind left back.
