Anyone been keeping tabs on this. We have Gil, Gollini still on loan I think. Am I forgetting anyone?

We were presumably hoping successful loans would trigger a fee

Gollini has barely played
Gil has barely played and relegation means no obligation to buy, apparently
Elphick has been injured
Tshibola has done ok for a team with no money
Gardner has scored once I think

Apart from that, they’ve all been driving up their value

Meanwhile half the shite we did get rid of have started looking decent once elsewhere!

I saw Tshibola play against Hibs whilst on holiday in Scotland recently - farcical stuff and he looked total shite.

RDM going back to his old club and paying £5m for a kid that has never really shown the potential to warrant such a price tag seems highly suspicious in hindsight. I wonder if RDM and Tshibola had the same agent or something.

It was Clarke that was determined we should sign Tsihbola.

Gil would be useful back up to Grealish.  That said, I can't see any of them coming back to Villa and staying.  Giving them away on free transfers and placing a sell on fee on their heads would probably be our best bet.

As RDM's assistant though.

You said RDM went back to his old club, he didn't as he's never ad anything to do with Reading. Clarke did.

It's a pretty bizarre assertion that something dodgy must have gone on just because a manager signed a player from a former club. When was the last time we had a manager who was able to sign players and didn't sign or attempt to sign at least one player he had coached befire?

Pretty sure that would actually be RDM.

We were definitely linked with Drogba when he arrived. Not sure if it was genuine interest or just paper talk. Anyway, I though the argument was that RDM must be crooked because he tried to sign Gollini from a former club.  But he hadn't actually managed him before? Confused now.
