A draw would be a positive result.  I expect City to be in the play-off mix this season and its a tough place to play. 1-1.  Hogan to get another for us.  Baker for them ;)

We'll lose. The only person I work with who has an interest in football is a Bristol City supporter, he barely speaks unless of course Bristol City beat Aston Villa.

We need to treat all our matches as if we are at home and attack, not try desperately to draw 0-0 whenever we're away.

I'm really looking forward to this.

Unfortunately, due to our poor start, a draw will not be good enough to get us back on track. 5 points after 5 games in not promotion material.

Newcastle - who were used as our bench mark a week or so ago - had a worse start to last season than we have, and had 9 points after this game.

Bristol City are the kind of team we need to start beating, away from home, if we want to take this promotion lark seriously.

2-1 to us!

I think we can win this, we need back to back wins for confidence and the team is plenty good enough if Bruce continues with an attacking approach. Lets just hope he doesn't revert to type and keeps a winning formula going.

Play like we did last week but convert more of our chances and we win.

...by 8 goals to 2.

My first game of the season, Ashton Gate is walking distance from my house.
A week ago I wasn't relishing this too much (the same fixture last season being a little sobering) - but now I'm properly excited! Not expecting another four goals, but a positive, confident performance would be most enjoyable.
UTV.

Welcome to the forum mate. Enjoy the game.

The Bristol fans aren't expecting much, other than their ground being taken over by Villa fans. It appears they have little to sing about..

Quote
We could have cheered every missed tackle, sung our hearts out at all the long balls that were gobbled up by the giants of Millwall's defence, chanted every City players name during our playing sideways among our defenders.

And it would not have made a scrap of difference. We were outplayed at Brentford and got a very fortunate equaliser. We didn't threaten Millwall more than a couple of times.

3-0 Villa win.

The law of averages dictate that we have to win away at some point, so hopefully the football Gods will be shining on us...by the power of McGrath let it be so. Villa win 2-1.

Logged in to WatchESPN to watch the match and then realised that today isn't Friday.
