That midfield looks brave but we could get walked through. Let's see.

I swear Bruce is shagging Hutton.

Every manager since McLeish brought him to the club has been. Maybe Bruce has told him to stay of the pop on the night before games and he's got yet another chance.

After all the money we have spent, that is not a great side. Pleased to see Davis get a chance but why fat Mack can't get a game is beyond me. Fucking Hutton again.

£30m+ spent on Strikers and we end up with an untested youth player in the side! Sums up all our transfer dealings in a nutshell.

It's pretty much the team I'd have picked bar Lansbury for Holilhane.

Is Gabby injured?

Lansbury has been awful in his games this season.  At least Hourihane doesn't spend the whole game trying to catch a glimpse of himself in the mirror.

I certainly think we're shy of experience in attack. Onomah, Green and Davis could be a stroke of genius, or it could be an afternoon where they have no idea how to keep hold of the ball.

Come on Villa !!!

Well, we will soon find out Mr Orange.  Hope, rather than expectation though eh?

The experienced players haven't really done the business for us, I say good on Bruce for giving the younger players a try, pretty courageous given that this is a must win. Shame it's a 'last throw of the dice' kind of move rather than a more considered strategy.

Glad to see Agbonlahor not playing but that does look like a bottom of the Championship team.

Well yes to be honest, best squad in the league my Arse. Looks like a team of plodders.
