Come in Mr Spud, your time's up.  Unless something really radical happens with the club then I feel we're doomed for a long, long spell in this division.  I don't have any solutions I only wish I did.  We seem to be totally derelict in the coaching department and that includes the manager.  I know it's early days but get rid and get rid tonight.

What's optics?

Isn't it what they use to measure spirits out in the pub, off which you need shitloads to watch our dire attempts at football.

FUCK "OPTICS"

Fuck him off, RIGHT NOW.

What's optics?

What's optics?
More fucking Yank shite that is making its fucking way into normal fucking speech.

I deserve this.

Sorry Monty.
I'm not in a good mood.

Nah I agree with you, I probably only said it from masochism.

Anyway, yes, fuck optics.

I'm so glad I avoided the Aston Villa depression accelerator and went to the refurbed Hen & Chickens for a massive mixed grill instead. It was excellent.

As for the Villa, there comes a time when a manager's career becomes untenable, but the departure usually occurs two or three games after that. Unless we go on a winning streak (most unlikely), I expect Bruce will be gone in three matches. Sooner if he resigns.

But don't expect immediate results with the new bloke, whoever that might be. We need to learn how to be a football club again, but if there's anything Villa doesn't do it's learn.

I predicted 7th-14th and I'm sticking with it. Cardiff were everything we're not and taught us a footballing lesson. It easily could of been 5 or 6-0.

We are fortunate the scoreline was only that, anyone watching knows we took a complete hammering.

No tactics
No desire
No hunger
No fight
No bottle
No skill
No strength
No goals
No points

etc etc...

The BBC said it could have been double and that wouldn't have looked harsh on Villa.

How have we fallen this low?

Of course our defence was meant to be rock solid this season!

It did sound like that Eric. Johnson made at least three excellent saves. Genuinely could have been 6.

Just waiting for my train home, left at 3-0, sorry but I never leave early but today there was nothing to suggest any fight back.
No hunger, no desire, nothing.
Bruce needs to go and take his shite signings with him.
Today was easily one of the worst performances I have ever seen in my whole time following my club.
Fuck off Bruce and your crap backroom staff.

Of course our defence was meant to be rock solid this season!
But it was a complete shambles in front of them and included Hutton who was useless again.

Sack the twat. Not a single thing has changed in nigh on a season with him in charge and a bucket load of cash spent.

Cheltenham have a lad up front this season they signed for a song after a couple of excellent seasons playing for Greenwich. He is knocking them in for fun. What do we sign?

Old fuckers on huge wages because they played in the top flight for a long time. Or liberally hurling cash at the best players on this league with no thought as to how we use them.

Gabby and Hutton need dropping pronto.
