yes malandro i ,m here

our sunday league team on acid as described on here played like school boys second half .

no complaints with the scoreline dust ourselves down and go again saturday as the old cliche goes

it's no good for the grey matter this football malarkey !

Do you reckon you could get up for the play offs if you didn't make second?

Warnock is some motivator but even he would struggle to gee you boyos up given how long you've been in second.

Exactly what I said a few pages back. Rather play them than Fulham anyway

Why don’t we stop bed wetting over Fulham.  They won’t want to play us over two games either.  Or even a one off.

Especially given that whoever ultimately fails out of Fulham and Cardiff are going to be hugely pissed off, whereas I think we've been mentally in the play offs for a few weeks.

Cardiff's game plan if they have got the ball stop them scrag them kick them, if we have the ball kick it as far as you can and as high as you can. Fulham's game plan play football. We won't get second so c'mon Fulham.

Has it occurred to anyone that Fulham or Cardiff might lose the semi final?

It's still all Cardiff's to lose, but can anyone really see Fulham not taking advantage if they slip up?

That's crazy talk. Suggesting a club of Cardiff's stature could lose to the likes of Derby, honestly.

Just beating QPR at home we'd be at least level with Fulham on goal difference and points.  Chuck in a draw at Bolton and we'd be second.  So frustrating.

We should concentrate on getting six points from the next two games.

Cardiff will definitely not want to land in the play offs because they don't seem to have done too well against the teams 'there or thereabouts'. In recent weeks they have lost to us, Wolves and Derby, I know they also had an awful defeat to Preston earlier in the season. I can't be bothered to look anything else up to back up this theory.

We on the other hand seem to have done better against the better teams, and worse against worse teams. We have also done well against worse teams when it's seemed important (Blues) so I think we are well set for the play offs, although I am mindful of our ability to mess up anything which looks doable.

It's also worth bearing in mind that whilst we lost at Fulham, we lost Grealish and Adomah on the eve of that game when they had been absolutely key players in the preceding weeks. At this stage, we do seem to have developed further to a point where we can lose certain key players and still hold up better than we did back then.

It would be lovely if some bizarre set of results over the last 2 games put us back in the frame, but tbh, even if Cardif AND Fulham slip up, experience tells me we would too. So the nerve jangling play offs it is I think. Although I will still be supporting Sunderland, Blues, and whoever else might form a tripwire in the final stretch for our rivals.

While you'd expect Fulham to roll Sunderland over, stranger things happen - Sunderland  might play with a bit of gung-ho freedom.
And Birmingham are almost safe now and on the beach, they might not care.... but if not...

But I expect Fulham to get 6 points

Cardiff have a slightly less easy games
Reading should be a game like Birmingham.
Hull.... not as easy - they like to score but a bit leaky at the back! ( 5 all!!!!)

I think that Cardiff will get 4 points, and so end up 3rd, a point behind Fulham.

Mystic Postal has spoken!
.....a load of rubbish as usual  :P

2 wins in the first 8 games and a crap December didn't help us either.
