I can see them humping Derby and surely they’ll beat Reading.

How are we four points behind Cardiff with two games remaining.  It’s criminal.
It is. It's a failure by Bruce and the team to be four points behind that clogger outfit. Their tactic is to win a free kick and lump it in the box to their centre half. They're shit.

That Morrison is a detestable fucker.  Almost as much as Colin.

Despite people’s dislike of Cardiff they have to be admired for their consistency and resilience. Football is all about winning matches in your competitive set and they have been doing that all season. If they now go up automatically it will be well deserved. Having said that with their horrific long throws etc I expect them to be relegated by Xmas.

I had a few quid on 2-1 to United, so I didn't particularly enjoy the last half an hour. I don't know how much I've won yet as I got my old man to stick the bet on for me and I don't know what odds I got.

I was pleasantly surprised when I went to pick up my winnings. 2-1 United paid out at 11/1. I was guessing it would be about 8/1 at best.

I find it quite funny that a rather fat Darren Bent being booed all game scored the first goal in Burton's comeback at Sunderland, helping to send them down.

Cardiff won their first five games.

We have 1 win in our first seven league games.

By second week of September they had a 10 point lead over us so it's been a struggle all season when you have starts like that.

They had a dodgy spell over xmas when I thought they were done and they've come back very impressively.

Still hope Fulham can somehow get second though.

I'm in the same boat mate, as regards to feelings about Cardiff. I know it's unrelated to football, but spent a lot of time in the Cardiff area as a youth, it's my mum's birthplace, my sister went to uni there, and my brother in law is a massive Cardiff fan.
Of course, Villa come first and I'm not a huge fan of Cardiff's football, but they've done brilliantly this season. When they beat us in August, they played some very good football. Hoillet and their front players tore us a new one.

Still, fuck them. I wish we were second.

Good on you mate. Derby is a huge game for you guys now. If you win that, you're as good as promoted in my opinion. I'll be cheering for them, as they're the team I'd most like to face in the playoffs at any point of them. But then, I'll be roaring us on to smash them next weekend.

A very exciting end to the season. It's been relentless from your boys and Fulham.

It was Depeche Mode and they were of bunch of wankers too. If Villa were as shit as Cardiff, I'd rather stay down and rebuild for another season. I see no point in being promoted only to be humiliated. Maybe you'll get smart and drop Warnock.

I don't begrudge Cardiff anything. They might not play within the spirit of the game but they play within the rules (just). Any failure to gain automatic promotion lies at our door, I wouldn't like us to adopt that style but would've liked us to finish above any team that does.
I bear no malice to Wolves despite their strange crush on Aston Villa all season, well deserved Champions playing with style, I just wish the fans could've enjoyed it bit more rather than seeing the whole campaign as getting one over us.

Winning for the modern football fan seems to be as much about the Bantz as anything.
