Amazing what can happen if you put numbers in the box. Rochdale had 5 players in there when the cross came over.

Spurs could win the FA Cup having played in every round at Wembley. Seems a bit of an advantage to me come semi and final day.
I think if they reach the semi final it should be played at a neutral ground.

I'm guessing it is non negotiable at this late stage for one of the semis to be moved from Wembley, but if Spurs are involved personally I can't see why The Olympic Stadium, The Emirates or Old Trafford couldn't stage the game. But rather than putting a plan B into place after todays result I doubt the FA will bother.

Yes, that would be both fair and sensible. For these reasons I doubt it will happen.

I doubt the FA bean-counters or whoever owns the stadium will want to lose the revenue.

Fairly certain that this has come up previously and all FA Cup semi finals are to be played at Wembley for however many number of years as part of some deal or other to justify the ridiculous costs of building the stadium.

They’ve just paid off the stadium debt so dont have that excuse anymore.

But the FA will clearly keep the semis at their home ground and rake in all the profits from tickets, merchandise, catering etc rather than using Old Trafford, Villa Park or The Emirates and giving those grounds owners a slice of the pie.

Probably a bit harsh as well, which makes it approximately 100 times funnier.

Don’t think Pep will be having a glass of red and a pie with the Wigan manager after this.
