I hadn't looked at the Premier league table in ages. I was surprised the majority of teams in the league are involved in the relegation battle. Oh well, I guess we will worry about it of we go up, but it seems the gap between the richest six or so teams and the rest has increased hugely.

Is "richest" something that can really be thrown out as that much of a differential these days?

Yes, back when finishing in the top four meant you got a hundred million compared to twenty million it's massive. But now that everyone is getting a hundred million just for turning up,  and everyone is spending £20m per player, it's harder to throw the "rich clubs" accusations around.

Eh I used "richest" instead of "biggest", because, well fuck them. But yeah, whatever you want to call the usual suspects in the top six. The gap just seems to be very big.

It most definitely is that nowadays - six teams sorting out the top 6 places and the other fourteen fighting to finish in 17th place or above.

Its striking how its like two leagues at the moment. Hopefully we will get a chance to find out next season how it is, but yeah, from a distance, it seems pretty grim.

Apparently Danny Ings still exists and apparently he [still] plays for Liverpool.

Typical Liverpool, beat Man City then lose to Swansea. Which is why, hopefully, we'll never have to see them win the League again.

Looks like Odd Bod spent his time getting a few new tats.
