Fair play to Wolves they ARE setting the League alight at the moment.

They have got half of Europe on loan, advertising for the agent

The bastards. It's not like we're using Snodgrass, Onomah and Johnstone or anything.

They have taken it on to a new level thanks to Mendes

They haven't really. They have five players on loan, we have three.

About a quarter of each of our first teams are loan players. We're hardly miles apart.

Difference is their Chinese owners asked Mendes about the manager appointment whilst ours asked Roy Kinnear.

Wolves are very good, the manager knows what he is doing and the signings have been excellent. They have some very good players and they fitted well together.

Funny (or not) how some managers can rebuild with lots of new signings and need no time what so  ever, then others, Lambert, Tim, RDM throw together a team and it’s chaos.

Wolves have bought Premier League standard players to take them into the Premier League. Under Lambert and to a lesser extent Sherwood we bought Championship standard players that took us to the Championship.

The Jorge mendes link has been immense for them. I suspect longevity will be a problem as they’re clearly a shop window. But as things stand I think we’re all playing for second. So when they beat Leeds I could definitely see the upsides

The shop window method can work well if you sell for a decent profit and replace properly. For years in the top flight Wimbledon were masters at doing that whilst making a profit. The problem is that by law of averages it will go wrong at some point.

I've never had much of an issue with Wolves so much so that I would be more than happy to go up in their wake via second place.
In fact I'm quite enjoying deadpanning exagerated admiration to the fans I meet. They gleefully join in, missing the point entirely, all "ar's" and "ay we's" and the like.

The idea of both clubs going up and Sandwell going down would make it a pleasant summer in my local, although I suspect they would then claim that Small Heath were their real rivals all along.

Yep. Their Manager has been a superb too. My point on other post is that it doesn't sit quite right what they are doing, I don't know what but as you say it is very short tdoing. On the pitch they are certainly looking good.

The more I see of Everton this season the more they remind me of us in our relegation season. Ashley Williams in particular. He looks like a bloke who has forgotten how to play football.

Where are Atlanta? About 12th in serie a? I know it was probably a bit of a dead rubber but boy did they play with style. How I want Villa to play.Funny seeing Gomez absolutely destroy Everton. And if Davis makes it I'll eat my pork pie hat.

WBA fans will be doing their nut.  Their arch enemies playing the sort of football that WBA always tell us they play, about to get promoted, while their team plays Tiny Penis football, but the key to them not getting relegated is Tiny Penis who they just sacked.

I think Wolves need to remember that they have blown bigger leads closer to the finish line than their current one.

All fair points.  I retract the comment.
