Unsurprising then that England haven't got the best out of him. Another brilliant hat trick tonight. There seems to be a big debate at the moment as to whether he is 'world class' or not. He might not be a Maradona, Messi or Ronaldo but he could be a Lineker and score a decent amount of goals for England in tournaments.Messi hasn't proved to be a Maradona, so it's fair to say that Kane won't.I think most people would settle for a Lineker though!Wouldn't you say Messi is a better player than Maradona was? Personally I discount world cups and international football as its always been a bit of a lottery and of a lower standard than top club football. Absolutely not. Maradona is the single greatest player to adorn grass. I love him, he was my first hero. I may be a bit biased. Messi's wonderful, but nobody's trying to break his legs.

He also turned an admittedly decent Argentina side into World Cup winners with his skill (especially his great goals in the quarters and semis against England and Belgium) and his 'streetwiseness' (the Argies actually have a word for it in Spanish which basically means legitimate/crafty cheating but I can't remember the word) for the hand of God goal. His talent and bloody mindedness also got a very average Argentina team to another final four years later.
Wolves down to 10 men.
This Neymar kid looks useful. Set up a goal after a lovely run for PSG in the first minute vs Bayern. Maybe one of proper big teams will pick him up one day.
