Fun fact. Lacazette has scored the same amount of goals so far as West Brom in the PL this season-4

Mid table premier league under pulis, or the up and down championship performances we experience?

I'd rather be in the Conference than have that baseball cap wearing twat nozzle in charge of us.

Absolutely. It isn't going to be long before it says "It's all about getting to 40 points" under the club badge.

Bolton player Felipe Morais sent off. So presumably won't play is on Saturday.

He was ace on Championship Manager about 10 years ago, but I suspect his career hasn't taken the path his promise predicted if he's jobbing at Bolton now.

Harry Kane is simply unstoppable right now. Unsurprising then that England haven't got the best out of him. Another brilliant hat trick tonight.

There seems to be a big debate at the moment as to whether he is 'world class' or not. He might not be a Maradona, Messi or Ronaldo but he could be a Lineker and score a decent amount of goals for England in tournaments.

Messi hasn't proved to be a Maradona, so it's fair to say that Kane won't.

I think most people would settle for a Lineker though!

Wouldn't you say Messi is a better player than Maradona was?

Personally I discount world cups and international football as its always been a bit of a lottery and of a lower standard than top club football.

Absolutely not. Maradona is the single greatest player to adorn grass. I love him, he was my first hero. I may be a bit biased. Messi's wonderful, but nobody's trying to break his legs.

I agree with SE. Maradonna is the standout greatest footballer from last 40 years. Only Zidane came close to him. Messi and Ronaldo not even close.

Messi is much better than Zidane. So is Ronaldo, probably.

Early days but we're currently the highest placed team who've been relegated from the PL in the last two seasons (other than Newcastle obviously). Sunderland seem to be struggling even more than we did last year.

What's Kane actually won? Also scoring 3 against Apoel Nicosia is the equivalent of a qualifying international match. Doing it against the big boys and s where we it counts.

Re Maradona - he took an average international team and an underperforming club side to the top. Messi is great but he's surrounded by the best.
