Watching MOTD and it's a fairly painful reminder of the gap between us and the top clubs

I wonder if it's ever been greater?

Watching MOTD Swansea v Watford as poor as it was, I genuinely believe we couldn't compete with either.  Not with this manager anyway.

As my brother is flying I'll update you on Clyde.

1-0 up and conceded a 91st minute penalty. Bloke sent off as well. Drew 1-1 at home to bottom of the table Cowdenbeath  :-\

Was busy waiting to be interrogated by Indian airport Gestapo when I heard this. Finding out Villa had won cheered me up somewhat, though. 😁

We'd definitely need to improve

You'd hope we're already scouting the energetic centre midfielders and wide players we'd need if we do go up

It's all about momentum.

Newcastle team 1-11 is not as good as the team they went down with (Wjanduldum, Sissoko etc) but rather than the club getting used to losing year in year out like we did at prem level, they've had a season of winning 25 games and have now got that confidence when leading in games.

Haven't really signed anyone of note either.

Must admit though when Burnley-Huddersfield came on I did think I'd switched back to Channel Five by mistake!

2-0. Lean Clarke has now scored for both teams in this derby in his career.
