To think how shit our defence has been this season and three of England's back four tonight are ex Villa players.
Supporting Villa is a lot like listening to the theme tune from whatever happened to the likely lads

Just started the England game, clocked Sterlings pathetic attempts to win free kicks and remembered exactly why I despise watching England play.  Is it possible to still love the Villa yet hate modern football?

How depressing it is to play a system which gives Henderson so much of the ball.

England remind me so much of Villa at times. Slow, pedestrian and hard watch.

Henderson seems like the textbook example of a footballer's footballer, i.e. nobody other than ex-footballers have the slightest clue how he's got the career he has.

I've just been to see England U18 v Brazil U18 at the Montgomery Waters Meadow. 0-0 but thought England were the better team and surprisingly some very skilful players. There is hope! Attendance: 1,876

Goalkeeper saves England's blushes by allowing the second goal.
