Gary Neville is behaving like a twat this afternoon, puerile comments.

He was spot on with them though
He would never of slagged Manu like that though, and if it had been the Villa my foot would of been through the telly, too biased for me.

I find Neville very refreshing, not afraid to upset people, is insightful and I've heard him criticise Man United. He's streets ahead of every other pundit.
Difference of opinion, I thought he wittered on like a real twat today, slagging Arsenal at every opportunity.

What was there about the Arsenal 'performance' that didn't deserve criticising?

It gives us another chance to see hilarious Arse fans throwing dummies out of their prams en masse?

Arsenal were very poor, but I doubt any team would of suffered the shite he was coming out with "during the game."

Gary Neville knows how easy this manager's lark is doesn't he? Just look at his success at Valencia.

If you're not allowed to criticise the performance of a manager unless you've been a successful manager yourself, we might as well just close down Heroes Discussion.

I've heard worse ideas.

I agree that he was spot on in what he said about Arsenal and I also agree he would have been the same if United had 'performed' like that. Not only did Graeme Souness also criticise Arsenal even Arsene Wenger abandoned his usual excuses and criticised his team.

Went to Forest Green v Newport last night to tick off another ground.

I have to say, ex-nose Mark Cooper has them playing some really decent football. Even to the point of getting themselves into trouble a few times, the absolute last resort is to hoof the ball. We've complained for years at Villa that we can't actually define what our style of play is - it was pretty evident after 10 minutes what FGR are about.

Even at half time, the FGR coach was working on a mixture of warm-ups and tactics with the subs, while the Newport guy just had them running around a bit!

Very competitive game too.

Having said all that, I still hope they go back down.  ;)

I asked for a sausage sandwich just to see what reaction I'd get!

To think how shit our defence has been this season and three of England's back four tonight are ex Villa players.
