45 years, I think you'll find. I put it down to tactics and their well organised team - to use a Mourinho reference, the "collectivity". You live or die as a team out there on the pitch. Ron Saunders managed it, the great Managers do it, teams of individuals, no matter how talented, fail it.

Wagner has it. It's what makes a great manager. How far he can take them is more up to their collective talents rather than their collective effort. He has them working like a well oiled machine. Respect.

They may have the tactics and organisation but whether they have the talents remains to be seen, I honestly think they will struggle one the novelty of being in the PL wears off. Wagner a great manager? Good yes, but not great....yet.

Newcastle looked seriously short of quality. Benitez needs a couple of players going forward that can give them a spark.

Hudersfield, like Watford and Burnley before them, look ready to work hard enough to stay above water.

Newcastle will conspire to sabotage themselves. They should be backing Benitez and stabilizing in the division. Instead they are fighting again. Benitez will eventually quit and they will spiral down yet again.

Barcelona are depleted through injuries to Suarez, Pique, Iniesta, but they looked weak tonight. It all rests on Messi's shoulders. A better team than Betis would have got something out of the game. A few fans even had their hankies out for the manager, in the first league game of the season FFS.

In fairness, Messi hit the woodwork 3 times himself. Barcelona weren't great but still could have won the game by a larger margin.

No he fouled him in an aggressive manner fully justified.
