I nearly pissed my laughing when Rangers went bust. I hope it happens again and again. And to Celtic as well.

As an aside, always amuses me when football fans slate glory hunters and then support Rangers or Celtic. Up the Accies!

I though it was hilarious.

I thought the Scottish fans did themselves proud, too. Livingston were liquidated, and punted to the bottom tier. Gretna were liquidated and punted to the bottom tier (before deciding to withdraw altogether and eventually reforming outside the league).

It would have been shameful had the league bent over backwards to accommodate Newco Rangers, as it was quite clear that senior administrators wanted to. Fans put pressure on their clubs not to vote the new club into the top two tiers, with threats to boycott season tickets if necessary. The end result was that, as a result of fan power, the league put them into the fourth level... exactly as they should have been.

Of course the Zombies think that they were treated unfairly and that there is some global conspiracy against them. Even though they ended up with exactly the same treatment as Livingston and Gretna. Their hysterical reactions just make it all the funnier.

Why are you asking me if you know/knew one of them?

Actually I was asking CD, he seems to have some strong views, there was an awful lot going on at the time, some of it in the press, some of it not.
Sorry if I have strayed.

That awkward moment when you don't know the difference between 'sceptic' and 'septic'.

Read my post from then other day.

Sceptic fans at their hopes of ever finishing 3rd in their CL group.

And far less offensive.

I'm not sure that pointing out that you've made the same stupid mistake more than once really helps your cause.
