Nothing to worry about with either team though, both hard working but no stand out players. Mind you I thought that on the opening weekend last season and then we played and barely mustered a shot.

Wolves 1-0 up against Boro and nearly 60% possession so either they are going to be the surprise package or Boro aren't all they are cracked up to be

Thoroughly enjoying the Fulham match, end to end, Cairney has been superb as has the right back Fredericks. Nice to watch some good football, it is the most middle class crowd I've been in at a football match!

Blues are losing

Every team playing away today are losing except Cardiff who are drawing at Burton.

Let's hope we don't mess up.

Cardiff winning. Which spoils me saying there has been no away goals scored in division 2 today.

Boro and Sheff Wed both lost. I'd like to get an early 3 point jump on both

If Fulham sign a centre forward I can see them having a great season, they played some lovely stuff today and Cairney and Norwood were an excellent combination in midfield, surprised Norwood was taken off as it allowed Norwich to get back into the game. I'd forgotten Cameron Jerome somehow still earns a living as a footballer, no wonder the sub who scored looked fucking furious with his manager for not starting him.

Jerome is decent at this level, 34 goals in his last two Div 2 seasons. He's crap in the top flight though. 15 goals in his last 5 seasons in the top flight.

Didn't Jerome get about 17-18 last season? I think he was mainly hopeless at Stoke because Pulis used to play him on his own up front.

An American friend of mine is going to their first live game today, Portland Timbers v LA Galaxy. Game had to brought forward a few hours because of the heat wave problems over there, it's been regularly over 100 this week.

Leeds 2 up at Bolton.

Bolton were just a set piece team in league 1 last season, scored a stupid amount from corners. Nulify that and they haven't got much else to hurt you with.

5k Leeds fans chanting "f*** Garry Monk" is amusing me.
