Wouldn't it be lovely to have them and their neighbours playing in the English league?

God forbid anyone should travel in large numbers and sing at a football match.

And the fighting, attacking a shop because Tommy Robinson was there, and singing stuff like "Fuck Lee Rigby he won't fucking drumming any more"?

I'm all for fans traveling in large numbers and enjoying themselves, not so in favour of them acting like twats.

Tommy Robinson seemed to milk it by the sound of things though. He just happened to have a book signing in Sunderland, with a camera, wearing a Rangers shirt on the day Celtic were up there.

As for the Lee Rigby thing, that's disgusting.

23 arrests at a friendly.

Why we'd want either of those sectarian tossers polluting our leagues I have no idea.

I'd imagine most of us would agree that Tommy Robinson is a twat, but it doesn't excuse attacking a shop he's in.

For those interested, probably no one!, here are the highlights of Bromsgrove v Leamington. Their 4th is a cracker, you know it's good when you can hear your manager praising an opposition goal! For anyone that wants to watch just that goal the move starts at about 9m 20s.

I find it hard to believe that people could actually sing that about Lee Rigby.
Is that just their way of showing how much they hate the English?

Wednesday had a pre-season at home to Rangers 4-5 years ago so they knew what to expect. Apparently the previous match went off without major trouble ( drunkenness evidently an issue).

I live by the QPR ground and around 15 years ago they played an annual pre-season friendly v Celtic. It was without fail a day of carnage, not for violence, but because of the scale of drunkenness. I have never seen so many drunk people in one place nor so many people lying spiffo on the pavement. I remember stopping a cop car as there was a bloke unconscious on the pavement at the end of our street. The cop stopped, took a look at him and did a cursory check, looked overwhelmed and drove off.

Pre-season friendly and all that but watching Bayern Munich against Liverpool the front four for Liverpool in the first half looked very good against a strong (on paper) Bayern.
Shame.

I absolutely despise everything about Celtic and Rangers and everything they stand for. Hiding behind religious beliefs to excuse political bigotry while watching a game of football. W××kers the lot of them.

Steady result for Glasgow Rangers at Sheffield Wednesday, albeit a friendly.

Celtic through against Rosenborg. Let's they hope they get a decent draw in the next round.

None of the potential opponents look particularly difficult... it'll be Qarabag (Armenia), Astana (Kazakhstan), Rijeka (Croatia), Hapoel Be'er Sheve (Israel) or Slavia Prague.

They could do with qualifying this year as it looks much more difficult for a team from a smaller country to make it through to the groups next season.

Meanwhile, in the "non-Champions" section, Liverpool will face one of Steaua Bucharest, Young Boys Berne, Nice, Hoffenheim (Germany) or Istanbul Basaksehir. Had never heard of the Turks before but apparently Adebayor plays for them.
