Still think the sweaties ladies team have more composure than the men's, good see to a splendid hiding nonetheless.

Lukaku is going to score a lot of goals this season. And he looks like he's bulked up too. Pace and power in considerable measure.

Such a beast. That goal against citeh was just ridiculous, I'm dreaming of our players scoring goals like that.

Like a hopeless junkie desperate for a fix, I have have half a dozen football accas in front of me waiting to follow the scores on the William Hill website. Scottish League Cup, English friendlies and Swedish football.

It didn't end well. I crashed and burned.

England ladies already looking well worth watching again. Fantastic header just wrongly disallowed but already one up in 5 mins anyway.
The composure of their finishing is brilliant. Hope I'm not jinxing them!

To be fair, we did have one not that long ago.

I came across the whole NK Osijek squad last night in the hotel we are staying in before they leave to play PSV in the Europa League. They are quite possibly the smallest, in terms of height, squad of footballers I have ever seen. The complete antithesis of a team managed by Tony Pulis.

Wee Barry would have been the towering centre forward for this lot. What was quite funny was after I had contemplated the dessert buffet I turned to see most of the squad descending on me only to be turned away from the cakes by the coaching staff - it seems like they like a good cream cake in the Croatian First Division.

French women down to 10 and losing. Would go out of the European Championships as it stands, a huge shock.

Think they're ranked no. 3 in the world.
