Quite impressive that The Rangers got the worst ever result by a British team in their first ever European tie.

Their manager's CV is interesting. He has played for five senior teams, none of which I have heard of and his longest spell at any of them was two years. Rangers is his 12th managerial job (he is 46) and the longest spell he has been in charge of a club is two years. The high points in his career appear to be as an assistant coach at Panathinaikos and for Saudi Arabia.

Talking of which, I heard that Linfield are playing Celtic in the next round. That should be a festival of hail fellow well met and bonhomie. Not sure if they can ask UEFA to play the Linfield leg on 12 July for good measure.

I think Celtic have agreed not to take any tickets for the away fixture.

Even Scotland haven't lost to a team from Luxembourg.

I don't think (I'll just check)...

And this is not sectarian?

One rule for one hey, and is Celtic not predominantly an Irish club?

Chelmsley Town 0-12 Bromsgrove Sporting. Probably for the best that we didn't play our star striker!

Hopefully my first game of the season on Saturday as Bromsgrove are playing Romulus, who play in Sutton Coldfield.  It will probably be 0-0!

I used to go past Chelmsley's ground on the way to work sometimes, although it's actually in Marston Green (and Marston Green play near the airport).
