They could scarcely have picked a less inspiring match.

Other than winning a competition, for me, nothing came near in terms of excitement in football as the opening day of the season (when everyone kicked off at three-o-clock), and the third round of the FA Cup.  Oh the anticipation and expectancy, a time when any club could win any competition.

Sighs wistfully.

And they could get chimps to draw the ties.
So you are recommending no change?

I am in my late 30's and agree.

Think I'll watch the Derby-Cardiff game tonight as other than their games against us I haven't seen either, so be good to see what might be facing us in the play-offs (but then again I'll start to get optimistic if Derby win!!)  There'll be a good edge to it after the postponement row.

The ugly, low rent Stoke will win. Probably by the odd goal but quite comfortably.

Derby fans in the office here are bricking it and not at all hopeful. There are a few bottle jokes from the Forest faithful....

I posted their recent record over the last dozen games or so a few days back. It is very poor. I reckon 2-1 to Cardiff. I see it is on SKY.

What a horrible Champions League this year. Only the outsidiest outside chance that Roma might win is keeping me interested. All of the other three would be awful, though I guess if Bayern win I wouldn't hate it as much as the other two.

Westwood is playing for Burnley today - they’ve equalised, and will probably now win. Lambert in!

He's been starting quite a bit in recent weeks. Thought this thread on Up The Clarets might induce some bile/humour/incredulity...

The bit where someone describes one of his crosses as 'almost Lowtonesque' has to be the highlight.

Derby are truly dreadful.  Defending then was just atrocious.
