Jesus, we all must be old.

Happy Birthday Lee - you might have been a bit of an eejit, but you were our eejit.

Some absolute corkers in here:

His old gaffer posted this pic on Twitter today of the two of them:

Great to see him rebuilding his life and using his experiences for the benefit of young people these days. At his best he was the heart of the team.Happy 40th Lee.

His kids are at the same Primary school as mine; he's a decent fella to chat to and always happy to talk about the Villa. Happy Birthday Lee.

On a televised game (can't remember which one) Lee was sitting by Big Ron. The commentary was on the lines of 'Ron celebrates with a young fan'.
Happy belated birthday Lee. You still don't look your age.

Bloody poor mans Jack Grealish ;)

It reminds me what a good player Lee Hendrie was.

He's a mate of my nephew. He was unable to go to my nephew's wedding reception a few years ago, but I met his future wife Emma there, a lovely person.

Probably our last (and arguably best) Villa youth talent that we developed and who went on to achieve something in the game.

Including a couple of headers which surprised me! I remembered the one at Wimbledon, where they rescued a point at the death (Hartson, I think ) but that glance at the near post from Samuel(?)'s cross was with the type of deftness you'd normally only associate with his feet.

He's a mate of my nephew. He was unable to go to my nephew's wedding reception a few years ago, but I met his future wife Emma there, a lovely person.

He signed an autograph on some chip paper for my son when I bumped into him in my local chippy on the day my son was born (bloody hell, that was sixteen years ago!). His Mrs let me in front of her to be served first at my local One Stop as I only had a newspaper and she had a basket full of stuff. I was a bit gutted to be honest as she kept bending down to talk to her little (girl I think it was) and was flashing a very nice backside in a thong. He also laughed a year or so back when he spotted me trying to fill up my new car with petrol when I had guessed wrong as to which side the tank was.
