I thought our shirt looked a bit more claret in the flesh yesterday. Which was nice

Agreed. Looked like a proper Villa kit to me.

And if we wore what Man City are (just had a look) we'd be appalled.

Man City's away kit is a rather splendid claret and blue.

It's horrible.

With claret socks I think it looks far more like a West Ham kit than one of ours and seeing John Terry in it doesn't feel right at all. Not a fan of either shirt but if I did buy one it would be for my kid.

Think the grey training gear looks nice but whilst the shop describes all traditional kit as royal magenta instead of bloody claret and blue I'll be giving that a side birth. Yes I concur with a few others re socks. They should be pale blue or at least white, not magenta !

On the subject of kits, I'm on the lookout for last year's home shirt in size medium - ideally in decent condition.  Not seen any in sales at a reasonable price (under £25) so if you have one you're willing to part with for a realistic price please PM me.

Hello all,

I fly to Tulum in Mexico on Saturday and am away for my 6 year old lads birthday. He is desperate for the new kit in time for his birthday but obviously this won't be possible, so I know it's a long shot but I wondered if any of my fellow H&Vers are travelling to Mexico in the next couple of weeks (after 29th July)?

As I say I know it's a long shot but if someone was travelling to Mexico and would be prepared to bring me a kit (which I'd pay for in advance obviously), I'd be eternally grateful, as would my son...

Thanks

Don't like the claret socks.  Would be fine with the away kit though.

They messed up the delivery of my pre-order last year and I live in Tamworth.

Does anyone know if the club shops up and running yet and if any kit will on sale there Saturday?

Thanks
