May seems the sensible time to release it, to me.

I suppose it might be contractual that we can't do anything until after this weekend, as we could still be playing in the old kit if we had made the Playoff Final.

Haven't we played the final league game in next year's kit before?

If we are staying with Under Armour there's no issues with crossover...it would only apply if we were moving to another manufacturer.  Anyway, what is this 'Play off final' you speak of??

I'm guessing the delay will be sorting the new sponsor.

UA support hunting for sport (allegedly).

There's no "allegedly" about it. They actively promote animal slaughter and have a Twitter page and an entire clothing range devoted to it. Scum.

More than happy to remove the "allegedly" after visiting that link. I've previously signed the petition against UA but even still didn't realise their support for such hunting was so blatant. There was a post on here by someone stating that UA had distanced themselves from such conduct, but it appears that was inaccurate. I wont be buying any UA Villa merchandise.

edit:
I asked about this at The Trust AGM and The club did query it and got back to me.

They said that Under Armour make sports equipment for a range of sports including hunting, but only support ethical hunting.

I honestly don't know how much credence to give this, but I am pleased that the club took it seriously and contacted Under Armour to voice their concerns, and got back to me.

Before clicking on that twitter link I was trying to picture a UA red fox hunting tunic, which naturally seems ridiculous.

However, I can't think of any circumstances where hunting live animals with a crossbow in this day and age can be justified.  Those images promote the life style that the US gun lobby would want us to believe.

On that basis, I won't be buying any Villa UA merchandise, and stick to my vintage gear.

Lets get our act together on this one in future years !!

Yes. The year we had the all claret shirt with NTL sponsor, we wore it for the final home game the previous season
