Dalian, Graham and Ugo all within a year, very shocking. Still surprises me with all the tech, sports science, fitness and nutrition how many players or ex players are passing away from heart attacks. I might be wrong but I just can't remember it happening as often going back 20 years or so ago.

RIP Ugo.

RIP Big Ugo.  So so sad to hear this awful news.  To echo Paul Merson, only the good die young.

What dreadful news. One of my favourite Villa players of the last 30 or so years, an absolute rock in defence and more importantly a thoroughly decent person, friendly and approachable who always had time for fans.
Rest in peace, Ugo. You won't be forgotten here in the Midlands.

That's just such sad news.

I too saw his debut v Norwich, and didn't think we'd see him again, after that, but what a great player he became.

I watched Ugo's iffy performance against Norwich from the Holte End and wondered how he'd come back from that. Lesser players and lesser men would have struggled, but not Ugo. He became part of one of the best defences I've seen at Villa Park and was by all accounts a great bloke. Thanks, Ugo, you won't be forgotten.

Can't believe the big man has gone so soon. Glad I was there when he scored for England against Spain at Villa Park. :(

Gutted, I'd hoped the availability of medical care at the training ground meant a positive outcome. A very sad day.
