John Gregory - inappropriate comments to a journalist
« on: April 04, 2017, 01:14:52 PM »
Just listening to LBC and JG has been identified as a certain Premier League manager that said inappropriate comments to a female journalist.

Does anyone know anything about this??

No, they bought in a journo to talk about dealing with managers and Vicki Orvice or something piped up that JG said something inappropriate to her years ago.

Didn't know whether anyone could shed any more light

It wouldn't surprise me if it was true, to be honest, considering some of the things he's said in the past.

Is it Point Out Offensive Things Said By John Gregory month or something? Grecian2000 hasn't had a look-in on H&V for months (years) and suddenly his name is up in lights twice in a week.

No, but it would be the least surprising thing I'd ever heard.

I can certainly see him doing a "make us a cup of tea love" type joke.

I will always have a soft spot for Gregory, but he was, erm, "old school" in the extreme.  A bit like Ron, sometimes you just have to accept that some people are a product of their times, and move on.

I think so. I think it's only a matter of time before someone brands him the most evil person alive, kind of an Adolf Hitler / Peter Sutcliffe diabolical hybrid that should be burnt alive.

But Hitler had some good ideas...

I still think he's a prick for retweeting Tommy Robinson.
